Bio:
Mary was the fourth of six children born to Raymond and Bernetta (Peltzer) Gorges. She graduated Andale High School in 1961. On January 6, 1962 she married Robert "Bob" Neises and they moved to California where he was stationed in the Navy. They lived there until the family moved back to Kansas in October, 1976. In November, 1976 they moved to Garden Plain, Kansas. They resided at 1202 N Sedgwick until moving into Wichita in July, 2003.
Mary retired from AT&T/Lucient Technologies in 1994. In retirement, she didn't stop working until health reasons caused her to in 2002. While "retired", MJ worked for the Sedgwick County Special Ed Coop, JC Penneys, Wal-Mart, Sharpline, Wichita Lawn, Flower & Garden Show/Sedgwick County Conservation District, and finally Rusty Eck Ford. In February of 2005 she and Bob took their "dream vacation", as they took a "Cruise with Carol" to the Western Carribean/Mexico.
She passed away at 6 am April 3, 2005 in the ER at Via Christ-St Francis, and was laid to rest April 6th in the St Anthony Cemetary, Garden Plain, Kansas. Bob and Mary had three sons, Robert Francis, II (Feb 17), Raymond John (Jan 20) and Ricky Christopher (July 10). At her passing, they had 5 grandchildren (4-granddaughters, 1-grandson).
