Rob's Racing Pages were designed to highlight the sim-racing activities of Rob Neises. Rob Neises, owner and a driver at James Gang Racing has begun building quite a team at JGR. Problem with a large organization is presenting easy to understand racing highlights and results. Last year, things were a bit confusing. In an effort to eliminate some of the confusion, only Rob Neises' race results will be presented on Rob's Racing Pages. To follow the James Gang Racing drivers activities, click on James Gang racing in the bar at the top of the page.
Rob Neises began sim-racing in August of 1995 in the NASS (formerly NASSCAR), offline Nascar1 series. In the 12 plus seasons since that time, Rob has started over 1800 sim-races. In those 1800 plus races, he has amassed 285 wins, 6 of those online; 179 poles, 4 of them online, and 23 offline Championships. In 2008, Rob plans on wearing the team owner hat a lot more than the race driver hat. He hasn't decided if he will run a car full-time in the AKM Monday Money Series, or sit atop the 5 JGR pit wagons on Mondays, rooting his drivers to Victory. Driving plans for 2008 include more online racing action, including internet TV series by East Coast Thunder (ECT) and the Midwest Sim Tour (MWST). Again Rob entered the NASS Race for Victory, and has plans to enter other charity-based internet races. Plans have Rob racing up to six nights a week. The tentative schedule has Rob starting the week on Sunday in the AKM Cup Series in a Dodge Avenger/Charger. Monday's are still open, Tuesday has SOAR-Racing's Cup90 series. Wednesday looks like ECT's Outlaw Madness GNS series, Thursday is either NASS Truck, or ECT's Checkered Flag Cup Series. Friday's look open and Saturday's are being left open for internet tv and Charity races.
