Outlaw Motorsports History

Rob Neises joined the Outlaw, and Outlaw Motorsports in the Winter of 2004. Rob ran the entire 2004 NWST N2K3 ARCA and CTS schedules under the OMS umbrella. Coming in third in the ARCA division, and bringing the CTS Championship trophy to the team. Rob piloted Dodges, and did most of the race preparations out of his Raney-Neises Family Racing Shops near Wichita, Kansas. He even ran the RNFR team number, number 96.
2005 and 2006 Rob ran the numbers 07 and 7 respectfully. Family and other issues kept Rob out of many Thunder and Truck races in 2006. Rob finished 18th and 25th, compared to 13th and 10th in 2005.
Late season issues between Neises and Dodge Motorsports left Rob's future with OMS cloudy. After many salvo's in the media, and some time in court, Rob and Dodge made peace, and Rob returned to OMS in 2007. Part of the deal stipulated that all of Neises' cars would be prepared in California, and transported by OMS-California to the races, Neises' job was to just drive the number 07 Dodge's. 2007 again saw Neises drop in the points as he jumped back and forth between racing and team ownership. In Thunder, he finished 23rd, in trucks 20th.
Rob is expected to run a very limited schedule for Outlaw Motorsports in 2008 NASS League action. The rigors of running his own multi-car team and internet television race league is expected to take up most of his time. Neises and team owner, Bill "the Outlaw" Heidelberg met with the media to announce the 2008 sponsors and associates on the OMS Chevy Monte Carlos and Silverados. The primary for the 07 rides will be Bling Pizza and MiMi's Place. Neises also announced special race deals with Ron Jon Surf Shop, the SCKL Virtual Railroad, Del Monte Foods, and the US NAVY. RedLine, Coca-Cola, the SCKL V-Railroad, John Deere, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Havoline, and the US NAVY are associates on the 07.
